I'm trying to craft a 40/40 set for a newly created Elementalist. I have 2 Aptitude inscriptions, a Focus Core of Aptitude, and a Wand Wrapping of Memory sitting in my chest.

The problem I'm running into is finding the wand/artifact that are inscribable. Are these only available through chest drops?

I'm willing to pay for them if necessary, more than happy to, but any insight on exactly what wand/focus I should be looking to purchase would be a huge help.

Foci, yes.

Wands, no.

You'll have to buy your way to wands.

You can only get inscribable items in Nightfall, Eye of the North or from the FoW/UW/Urgoz/Deep/Zaishen chests. But they are really not rare, unless you are looking for a specific skin and low req.

You need a rare "Forget me Not" Inscription for the Focus item, not "Aptitude"!

You can craft 20/20 items at Leviathan Pits or Vasburg Armory in Factions. This is probably the fastest way to get a 40/40 set.

Yes, you can. The places I know of are in Factions, they are at the two places where you get Elite Kurzick/Luxon Armor. 5k and some mats for each.

If you have the Bonus Mission pack, wouldn't you be able to add those mods to the weapons you receive as rewards? I'm thinkin' that you could build your set that way...

you can craft both the wand and focus in Leviathan Pits for less money than it would cost you to but just the forget me not insc.

The wand you can craft from the places mentioned above or for a little more buy a green wand (Droknar's Fire Scepter or Hajkor's Flame.)

You craft a 40/40 set for almost any attribute from Gertrud in Vasburg Armory. Afterwards you can sell the mods in Spamadan or something.
